Be Bold!

Be Bold
bold

/bōld/

adjective

showing an ability to take risks; confident and courageous."a bold attempt to solve the crisis". (daring, courageous, fearless, unafraid)

I can still remember the fear I experienced before launching my website. Thoughts of failure flooded my mind and after days of entertaining these negative thoughts I decided enough was enough. I had to make a choice. Am I going to live the life that was designed specifically for me?  Or would I live a life of fear that would paralyze me?  In that moment I was able to make the bold step to live on purpose. I chose to put my confidence not in my own skills but confidence in the One who created my purpose.

Are you lacking confidence in walking out your dream? Do you know that you have the opportunity to live boldly? Allow me to share some steps I took that encouraged me to live boldly:

1). Overcome your personal objections & fears

Your purpose was formed before you were! Don’t limit what you will be based on where you have been. There is no limit to your purpose! Challenge yourself to align with Gods perfect design for your life.

2). Practice Being Bold

Look for opportunities to make a difference. You can’t master something unless you practice it. Don’t let previous obstacles and setbacks discourage you from getting up and trying again. God is a master recycler - He wastes absolutely nothing. Choose to learn and mature knowing that it will produce strength and endurance.

3). Be Authentic

One size does not fit all! Your purpose was designed perfectly for you. It is easy to get caught in the comparison trap and believe that you are less relevant than others. We have all been there! Embrace who you are!

4). Run to the Problem

What are the justice issues that you complain about the most? Could it be that your passion should be turned into a new business venture, mentoring program, non-profit ministry that will bring social and community reform? Don’t stand back. Be the change that the world needs!

Remember this,

You were created to do hard things!
