LEADER. SPEAKER. AUTHOR
La-Kita Gilmore
“One of my earliest memories involves me gathering my toys together for a weekly teaching session. Unbeknownst to me, this innocent activity revealed that I was born to teach and lead others, even though some called me bossy or said I talked too much. Hearing those words impacted my self-esteem; it caused me to downplay my abilities and grow quiet.
It wasn't until I was given leadership roles in high school and at church that I began to get comfortable in my own skin and realize my path as a teacher, counselor, and mentor. Each experience transformed me. Under the guidance of strong mentors, I embraced my leadership potential and worked diligently on my speaking skills.
Today, I'm dedicated to equipping leaders like you to lead mission-focused, thriving congregations.”
